Recurring revenue, done right.
Subscriptions bill themselves, revenue is recognised as the service is delivered, and the numbers your board asks for come from the same records as the statements. No more reconciling the billing tool to the books.

Subscriptions that run themselves.
- 1
Billing on a schedule
Monthly, annual or usage-based plans bill on their dates, and a change of plan is prorated for you.
- 2
Revenue as it's earned
An annual invoice is spread over the year. The books show what is earned, what is billed ahead and what you owe in service.
- 3
Board numbers that tie out
Recurring revenue, retention and churn come from the same contracts as the statements, so the deck and the books agree.

Questions, answered.
How is an annual subscription recorded?
The invoice is held as not yet earned and recognised month by month over the service period. The schedule shows what has been earned and what is left.
What happens when a customer upgrades in the middle of a term?
The change is prorated on the invoice, and the revenue schedule is recalculated from that date forward.
Can I get recurring revenue and churn without a spreadsheet?
Yes. They are worked out from your contracts and invoices, so they agree with the statements.
Can I bill in US dollars?
Yes. Each invoice carries its currency, and the books record the value in Canadian dollars at the rate on the day, with gains and losses posted for you.
