Every card charge, with its receipt.
Company card spend and employee expense claims, in the books with the receipt attached and the sales tax coded, so the input tax credit is claimed and nothing is a mystery at year end.

Spend with a paper trail.
- 1
Each charge finds its receipt
Card lines come in from the card's feed or its statement. A receipt you upload is matched to the charge of the same amount, and you confirm the match.
- 2
Coded with the right tax
Every charge lands on an account with its sales tax split out. The input tax credit is claimed only where the receipt is good enough to support it.
- 3
Claims approved by amount
An employee submits what they paid out of pocket. It goes to whoever approves that amount, then it is paid back.
From the card swipe to the books.
Five steps, and a named person behind each decision.
Charges
Card charges arrive on their own
Connect the company card or import its statement and every charge appears in one list. Recent charges are given a few days for the receipt to turn up before anyone is chased.
- One list for every company card
- Filter by card, company or date
- Export the list when your accountant asks

Match
A receipt is matched to its charge
Upload a receipt and it is read and compared with the charges on your cards. When a charge fits, you see both side by side and confirm. If the amounts are close but not equal, a tip or a fee is named as the likely reason.
- Matched by amount and date
- You confirm every match

Credit
The credit stands on a proper receipt
To claim the tax back, CRA asks for more on a receipt as the amount grows: a name and date for small ones, the supplier's registration number and the tax above that, and more again for large ones. Each charge shows which level applies.
- The level shown beside each charge
- Missing details flagged, not hidden
- Nothing blocked, so you decide

Charges without a receipt stay on the list
A charge with no receipt is marked as needing one, with a button to add it right there. If there will never be one, you can book it without a receipt, and that choice is recorded under your name.

Questions, answered.
Do I need a receipt for every card charge?
For the tax credit, yes. The receipt has to show enough for the amount, and each charge says how much. A charge with no receipt can still be booked, and it is recorded that you chose to.
What happens if a receipt and a charge differ by a few dollars?
It is shown as a near miss, with the difference named, since a tip or a fee often explains it. You decide whether it is the same purchase.
Can employees claim back what they paid themselves?
Yes. They submit a claim, it goes to whoever approves that amount, and once approved it is paid back.
How is this different from bills and payments?
Bills are what suppliers send you to be paid later. Expenses are money already spent on a card or by an employee, so the work is matching the receipt rather than paying.
