Reconciliation
Reconciled before you look.
Bank, card and Stripe lines are matched to your entries as they arrive. What does not match lands in an exceptions queue, and a named person signs off each account for each period.

What you get
Matched as lines arrive
Bank feeds and card lines are compared with entries continuously, so reconciliation is a steady state and not a month-end project.
Exceptions, not busywork
Lines that match are done. What does not match goes to a queue with a suggested fix, and each fix is approved by a person.
Signed off per account
A reconciliation is certified per account and period by a named person, and the certification locks what it covers.
How it works
From bank line to sign-off.
Pick a step to see it. The panel stays beside you while you read.
Connect an account through Plaid and lines arrive daily, or upload a CSV or statement file when the bank is not supported. Both land in the same place and are matched the same way.
- Plaid bank feeds
- CSV and statement imports
- Chequing, savings and credit cards

A payout is one deposit at the bank and many movements in Stripe. Eternify Ledger splits it into the charges that earned it, the refunds taken out and the fees, so each piece lands on the right account.
- Payout split into its parts
- Fees posted to expense
- Refunds tied to the original charge

Exceptions, operating account
When the statement balance and the ledger agree, a named person certifies the reconciliation. It records the period, the difference of zero and who signed, and it locks the matched lines.

Questions
Questions, answered.
What is bank reconciliation?
Bank reconciliation is comparing your bank statement with your ledger and explaining every difference. When the adjusted bank balance equals the ledger balance, the account is reconciled. Eternify Ledger does the comparison continuously and leaves the explaining to you.
How does Eternify Ledger reconcile Stripe payouts?
A Stripe payout is split into the charges, refunds and fees it contains. Each piece is posted to its own account and the deposit is matched to the bank line, so the payout reconciles to the cent.
Does the matcher learn from my corrections?
Yes. When you change a proposed match or code a recurring line, that choice shapes the next proposals for the same counterparty. Each proposal still needs a person to confirm it.
Can I connect my bank, or do I upload files?
Both. Bank feeds connect through Plaid. For an account Plaid does not reach, you upload a CSV or a statement file and it is matched the same way.
Reconcile one account on a call.
Bring a month of bank lines. We connect or import them and work through the matches and exceptions with you.
