What this site collects
You can read every page without telling us anything. The site runs no advertising trackers and no marketing scripts. Three things do involve your information:
- Google Analytics. Since 2026-09-11 the site loads Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* in your browser and sends Google the pages you view, the page you arrived from, your browser and device type, and a city-level location worked out from your IP address, which Google says it does not store. We use it to count visits and see which pages get read. Google processes this on our behalf under its data processing terms, on servers that may be outside Canada, including in the United States. We have not turned on advertising features, Google Signals or any audience sharing, and nothing in it is joined to your email if you write to us. To opt out, block cookies for this site or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on; every page reads the same without it.
- Email you send us. If you write to info@eternifylabs.com, to apply to the design-partner program or to ask us anything, we receive whatever you choose to include: your address, your name if you sign it, and the contents of your message.
- Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. We don’t use these to identify or profile visitors.
Our publishing tool
We post to the company’s own accounts on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and X through an internal tool, Eternify Labs Publisher. It signs in only to those company accounts, and the access it holds (a sign-in token for each one) is stored on our side and used only to publish posts a named person on our team has approved. From each platform it receives the account’s own name and ID and the link to each post it publishes; it does not collect information about you or anyone else who views, likes or replies to our posts. If we ever let other people connect their accounts, this section will change first.
Address lookup in Eternify Ledger
When someone using Eternify Ledger types an address into a customer or an invoice, the product can suggest the full address as they type. Those suggestions come from Google Maps Platform (the Places API), a service provider that processes the lookup on our behalf, outside Canada. What reaches Google is only the part of the address typed so far, the suggestion picked, and a random token that groups one search together. No name, email, amount or anything else from the books is sent, and the lookup runs from our own servers, not from your browser. Anyone who prefers can skip it and type the address in the fields by hand.
What we do with it
We use your email to reply to you and, if you asked for it, to send you what you asked for: design-partner follow-up, or news about Eternify Ledger. That’s the whole list. Specifically, we do not:
- Sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone
- Add you to a marketing list you didn’t ask to join
- Share your correspondence with third parties, except service providers that make email and hosting work (our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf)
Retention and your choices
We keep correspondence for as long as it’s useful for the conversation you started with us. If you’d like your emails deleted, your address removed from a notification list, or a copy of what we hold about you (which is, at most, the emails you sent us), write to info@eternifylabs.com and we’ll do it. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Law 25. The person accountable for it is named below.
Changes and contact
If we start collecting anything new (a signup form backend, product telemetry) we’ll update this page before or as it happens, and change the date at the top, as we did for analytics. Questions about this policy, access requests and complaints go to the privacy officer, at the same inbox as everything else:
